For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to publish a book, I loved creative writing in school and had all these ideas and topics, themes, niches etc. Now, I have published a Horror short story on KDP, and you know what, regardless of whether it sells or not, I think that is really dope. Gone are the days of having to slave away writing a book and editing it, formatting it, re-reading and re-writing, peer review and then only to spend money printing it for it to maybe get through a publishing outfit. Do not get me wrong, the above elements are important, but online publishing has made it simple. You can publish on KDP, Barnes and Noble, Ingram Spark, Kobo etc the list goes on. There are so many opportunities for you to become an online business owner and a publishing business in itself. So I wrote a short story, approx 1000-2000 words, and that is pretty standard, I believe the standard is between 1000-10000 words, so you have a good bracket to work with.

Anyway, all I am saying is that, it is simple, it is a side hustle, or a business, that is dependant on you. But it is exciting, its fun, and another way to make money which I think is super dope.
